Back with my Minnie in Arizona

There are moments of pure joy. I had one yesterday. I went to say hello to Minnie and let her know I am back. She is in a different turnout that has washes, trees and is large, so when I went to find her I couldn't see her and wasn't sure which direction to start looking. I called her and whistled, but I wasn't sure she would come having not seen me in 6 months. Then I heard the thundering hoofbeats of a single horse in a fast gallop coming in my direction, and caught a glimpse of her flying mane through the trees in the high area on the other side of the the wash. I lost sight of her but heard her gallop down through the wash and around some trees as she came flying into view. She skidded to a stop at my feet, she instantly went quiet as if she had sauntered in, sniffed me all over and gently took the button of my shirt in her teeth and held it. What a wonderful "I know its you, I missed you, welcome back my human".
